Citrus

Oranges have been grown since ancient times and originated in Southeast Asia. As of 2010, Brazil grows one-third of all the world’s oranges. California and Florida are large producers of oranges in the US. There are now over 600 varieties of oranges worldwide.

Nutritionally, the lemon constitutes one of nature’s seven top sources of potassium, a mineral that promotes clear thinking, aids in normalizing blood pressure and works with sodium to regulate the body’s water balance. Lemons are nature’s top source of citric acid, an essential ingredient found in the cells of all living creatures.

All Citrus fruits are high in Vitamin C. One glass of lemon or orange juice a day can help in cleansing your liver as well as avoid avoiding any "sick days" from work or school.
